The guides on Universal DB AI come from real servers I run and secure. STYD is one of them: it follows the same principles for exposure, secrets, files and backups.
Read-only by design
Database questions run in read-only transactions, and Odoo is only ever read. STYD never changes or deletes your data.
Secrets locked away
Database passwords and Odoo API keys are stored encrypted. STYD API keys and invite links are stored hashed, never in plain text.
Server not exposed
Only web traffic reaches the server, over HTTPS. The database behind STYD is never reachable from the internet.
Safe sign-in from Claude
Claude connects to STYD through OAuth. Claude never sees your password, and you can remove its access at any time.
Uploaded files checked
Size limits, a malware scan and isolated processing for every file. The original is deleted once it has been read.
Backups
Backups several times a day on the server, plus an encrypted copy kept off-site.
Abuse protection
Automatic limits stop bots and abusive sign-ups before they reach your data or the AI.
Never used for training
No AI model is trained on your data. The privacy page explains exactly what is sent to the AI provider and why.
